Arsenal - The Emirates International Break

Every season, Emirates host a sponsored match day with Arsenal. And in the 23/24 season, they really wanted to show up for fans beyond just being a name on the shirt.

That year, the game was scheduled just before the international break. Which football fans…aren’t the biggest fan of. But when the season pauses and the Gunners fly off for international duty, why couldn’t Arsenal supporters fly out as well?

If only their club sponsor was one of the world’s most prominent airlines…

With an assist from Arsenal icon Robert Pires, we reimagined football’s deadspace into one of the most exciting times of the season. Four supporters watched the game in style and stepped onto the pitch during the most streamed Premier League match in US history, and one of them got to experience an international break in a way we never anticipated.

Meet John.

Lifelong Gunner. Stroke survivor. The nicest bloke you’ll ever meet.

The fact the Emirates International Break played even a small part in helping him create new memories to replace his forgotten ones, shows how club sponsors have the power to be more for supporters than just a name on their shirt.
